Joe and Kelly Derocher have children of their own, and they understand that it isn't always easy to have professional photographs created. Joe and Kelly try to make it easy on you, planning the session at your child's best time of the day, so that your child is most likely to provide his or her best. They do not believe in waiting in line to have portraits made. For each portrait session, they reserve an hour for your child. Some children may not need a full hour, but is nice to know that, if needed, time for a break is allowed. Their specialty is environmental portraits. Joe and Kelly find that children and high school seniors are more relaxed outdoors, or in their own environments. When children are at ease, they let their guards down and their true personalities shine through. Then you get exactly what you want: a wonderful image of your child.

Joe and Kelly have an excellent rapport with children, which allows events like dance school photographs and nursery school photographs to run smoothly. They come directly to your studio or school to photograph students and their classes on studio backgrounds.
